37 days to the USA

A sea day in the Mediterranean Sea for Whytney.  Usually not her favorite days because they are usually very busy and full of hard work.  They probably pass quickly because she is staying so busy.  Maybe it will be quick so that another day will be counted down toward her return home.

Whytney has been sailing the Mediterranean Sea since May 20th.  A vast expanse of water that covers over 2300 miles.  At its greatest depth, it reaches over 16,000 feet. It is subdivided into many seas that include, the Adriatic Sea, the Aegean Sea, the Balearic Sea, the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Ionian Sea, and the Ligurian Sea.  Its name is derived from the Latin word Mediterraneus, which means "middle of the earth". Originally named by Romans who believed that this was in fact the middle of the earth.

Must leave Whytney today with 37 left to go....Barcelona tomorrow and 3 cruises to go!  Minor flood in the basement - no Mediterranean Sea (thankfully); water, none the less!
