Ticket out of Barcelona!

Not yet, but, in 32 days!  Today is a sea day for Whytney.  These are not her favorite so hopefully it will go quickly and smoothly for her today.

The Mediterranean Sea is to be sailed today; going from Rome to Dubrovnik, Croatia.  Hopefully, Whytney will be able to get off the ship in Croatia this time.  This is one place that she has not yet had a chance to visit.
Wouldn't it be nice to cruise the Mediterranean?  To be able to view different places rich in culture and history.  Seeing for yourself some of Europe's most stunning cities and their diverse art and architecture.  Not to even mention the food!  Visiting ports in Spain, France, Italy, Croatia, Greece, and Turkey is a dream come true for many of us who have rarely or never been out of the states.  To experience the magic of the Med and its beauty could bring memories to last a lifetime.

Whytney's ship, the Celebrity Century actually travels the Western and Eastern Mediterranean.  When in the West, they travel ports in Spain, France and Italy; when in the East, they travel ports in Italy, Greece and Turkey.

Most Mediterranean cruises sail between May and October.  The weather in the Med is very pleasant during the summer, however, it can get very hot in some locations.  May and June tend to be the favorite time of the year to travel the Med for most in order to have the best weather.  Regardless of the time of year, the Mediterranean is beautiful any time of the year.

If you decide to travel with Whytney on the Celebrity Century, you would probably want to stay in a suite if you go on a Mediterranean cruise.  Since most cruises in the Med are an average of 12 or more days, you certainly want to be comfortable in your accommodations.  Try the Royal Suite which offers numerous luxuries and plenty of space.  The floor plan looks similar to this:

This suite is located on the Penthouse level of the ship.  I loved being on this level when I cruised with Whytney.  It was just below the spa and so close to Whytney!

I wish that I could go on a Mediterranean cruise with Whytney. I will not have to wait long to see Whytney; only 32 days to go.  In 32 days, she will be leaving Barcelona and heading for home!  I cannot wait and I know that Whytney can't!  I think that she would jump ship if she thought she could swim home!  Let's hope that she will wait!

Let's hope that she will be able to get off in Dubrovnik, Croatia tomorrow for her day off????  Post some pictures for us if you can Whytney - we really enjoyed the last ones in Nice.

Until 32 days pass, remember....Mommy....LUM&L
