Whytney will be in Monte Carlo (Cannes), France today on day 23. Wouldn't it have been wonderful if she could have been there during the world famous film festival?
The festival is held each year in the spring. This is when actors and actresses from all over the world converge on Cannes to see their favorite stars!
This is the best place to "star" watch. Famous people from all over the world visit Cannes. Typically arriving here in private jets or in their yachts. A popular place for them to stay is the Boulevard de la Croisette or the Carlton Hotel pictured to the left. This is where Grace Kelly first met Prince Rainier III, whom she later married.
Some of these luxurious hotels have exquisite French cuisine served on patios overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. What a way to enjoy an expresso!
I could not, of course, leave out the demand for fashion in Cannes. I am positive that, if given the opportunity, Whytney would certainly be taking in some "window" shopping!
I hope that Whytney was able to enjoy this one of a kind place today. This is the only time that her ship will port here to my knowledge. I will continue to count down the remaining 23 days and keep you updated on her journey toward home.
