ONE MONTH!

I was so lucky to talk to Whytney two times today!  I got an early morning wake up call first around 6 a. m.  It was so nice to hear her voice, even that early on a Saturday morning.  She sounded very good and talked about how much she was looking forward to coming home.  She called again around 3:30 this afternoon, before her bedtime (9:30 p. m. her time).  She was telling me about some of her friends that she has made over the last 8 months and how they would be getting off to go home over the next 3 cruises.  The Celebrity Century will never be the same once Whytney has left - they have no idea that their sparkle and shine will be gone!  I hope they enjoy it over the next 2 1/2 cruises....

Whytney is in Dubrovnik, Croatia today with 31 days to go.  She is not going to be able to get off of the ship today, :-( So sad, I would love for her to visit here and get some pictures; it is such a beautiful place in the online pictures that I have found.

 

Whytney's ship is sailing in the Adriatic Sea in the Mediterranean and port regularly in Croatia. I did not realize how close, geographically, it was to Hungary.  Whytney might remember our first exchange student, Andrea, from Hungary.  Unfortunately we lost contact with her a few years ago.  

Dubrovnik is often referred to as the "Pearl of the Adriatic".  Whytney will be staying on the ship so I thought that I would share some pictures of the Port of Dubrovnik, which is what see will be seeing.

It is possible that she could see many yachts when ported in Dubrovnik - and a gorgeous coastline!

She could possibly see some beautiful beaches - hopefully not, she would probably be depressed that she can not be sun bathing!  Whatever she sees from the ships deck promises to be beautiful in this port.  And she is especially excited today with only one month to go on her contract.
